Teachers suspended in Merrill and Antigo for connection to marijuana distribution ring

Five Antigo school employees were suspended after an investigation of the marijuana distribution ring in north-central Wisconsin, and it has now moved to Merrill schools.

John Lund, Antigo High School football coach and elementary school principal, was suspended after being charged for drug crimes related to the distribution ring. 

Peter Miller, retired athletic director, and substitute teacher, Anthony Crabb, both of Merill Area Public Schools, have both admitted to purchasing marijuana from the pot ring.  Miller admitted to buying pot from the distributor for 15 years.  They have not been charged, and were told by the Interim Superintendent Bruce Anderson their services are "not needed at this time."

Milwaukee man charged with homicide for selling cocaine

John J. Casper, 27, of Milwaukee was charged with first-degree reckless homicide when police found text messages showing he was selling drugs to Donald J. Matta of West Allis who died of a drug overdose on May 22.

Matta's cell phone was found by police, and it had message between him and Casper arranging a meeting.  Casper admitted to meeting Matta at Southridge Mall on May 21 to exchange cocaine for Percocet pills.  He also admitted to selling drugs to Matta one to two times per week over a period of two months.

Casper was already on probation for drug possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Two Wisconsin men face federal drug charges

Two men, 49 and 29 years-old, are in a Winnebago County court house facing charges of conspiracy to deliver heroin and cocaine as a part of a large cocaine and heroin drug distribution ring.

If the men are convicted, one could face up to 80 years in jail with $200,000 in fines and the other could be sentenced to 40 years and $100,000 in fines. Both men are already in a Wisconsin prison, serving their sentences for prior convictions.

The drug ring has sold nearly 20 pounds of heroin, which is estimated to be worth $3.6 million, as well as 13 pounds of crack cocaine worth $900,000 in the past year alone.

Two Men Face Drug Trafficking Charges

Two men in Delaware have been arrested and charged with several offenses, including drug trafficking, possession of weapons, and possession of cocaine.

The thirty-five and twenty-eight-year-old men were arrested at a shopping center by officers of the New Castle Police Department after they found cocaine in the two men's car. Police then obtained search warrants to search the men's home, where they found multiple weapons with ammunition and over $50,000 in money made from selling drugs.

The men are currently in jail awaiting trial, and each of them has a bail set at $90,500.

Six individuals arrested in Wisconsin drug investigation case

Six individuals were arrested for drug trafficking. According to police reports, the arrests were the result of a seven-month investigation coordinated by a number of agencies. 

The investigation was allegedly looking into trafficking of both cocaine and marijuana in and around the Wisconsin area. At the time of the arrests, not only were the targets arrested but police also found drugs and alleged drug money at the scene of the arrests.
