Dozens of innocent travelers that cross the Texas-Mexican border for work have been tricked into smuggling drugs into America. Mexican drug traffickers, in elaborate schemes, track and make copies of car keys that belong to the unsuspecting people who commute daily across the border.

Once they cross into Mexico, the cartels will load bags of drugs into the trunks. When the workers travel back to America, other drug traffickers will pick up the smuggled narcotics and the innocent drivers have no idea. Until they are stopped by border patrol.

Nearly 4,000 people were charged in 2009 for drug trafficking between El Paso and Houston. 126 were dismissed, 17 were found guilty, and the rest pleaded guilty- usually in order to get a lower prison sentence.

A 24-year-old man from Massachusetts was recently arrested for trafficking cocaine.

The arrest came after after a two-month operation in which undercover officers purchased cocaine from the man. Surveillance cameras that caught the illicit activity on tape led to the police obtaining a warrant to arrest the man. During the arrest, officers found 35 grams of crack-cocaine and $1,200 in the man's possession.

The man pled not guilty to the charges brought against him. He is currently awaiting trial.

Two men in Delaware have been arrested and charged with several offenses, including drug trafficking, possession of weapons, and possession of cocaine.

The thirty-five and twenty-eight-year-old men were arrested at a shopping center by officers of the New Castle Police Department after they found cocaine in the two men's car. Police then obtained search warrants to search the men's home, where they found multiple weapons with ammunition and over $50,000 in money made from selling drugs.

The men are currently in jail awaiting trial, and each of them has a bail set at $90,500.
