18 Year-Old Charged with DUI a Year After Accident

by Administrator 28. February 2011 05:18

An 18 year-old man was recently charged with a DUI that stemmed from an accident on January 1, 2011 that semi-paralyzed himself and another person that had been riding in his car. The accident also caused injuries to three other people.

The accident occurred when the 18 year-old drove his pickup truck into a tree while under the influence of alcohol. Charges against the young man were not initially followed because he had been seriously paralyzed. Since the charges, the young man has been released from jail on the recognition that he has serious medical problems that render a jail ill-equipped for his needs.

Drunk driving is a crime that could affect your life greatly. If you or someone you love has been charged with the serious crime of driving under the influence of alcohol, please contact the Appleton DUI defense attorneys of Kohler, Hart, & Priebe, LLP at 414-271-9595.
