Two Wisconsin teenagers have been arrested on charges of being connected to several armed robberies that used the popular website, Craigslist, to lure victims.
The robbers placed ads on Craigslist that advertised iPhones for sale. Three people responded, seperately, to the ads over a week and a half time period. When they showed up to purchase the iPhones, they were held at gunpoint as two men attempted to rob them. No one was injured during the robberies, but $600 was stolen from one man.
Police found the whereabouts of the teenage suspects by tracing phone calls the two teens made to the people who responded to the Craigslist ad. The suspects are currently in custody and are scheduled for an appearance in court.
