22-year-old Spencer Atwood confessed to performing a sexual act on a 13-year-old girl in July.  The name of the girl has not been released.

According to police records, the young girl was spending the night at a friend's, where Atwood and his wife and children also lived.  The girl reported to have been watching a movie with Atwood around 6:30a.m.

Atwood tried to kiss the girl, and told her he wanted to have sex with her.  After the girl refused, she fled to the bathroom to get away.  Atwood followed her in to the bathroom, and proceeded to perform a sexual act.

Atwood stopped only when his wife started knocking on the bathroom door.  He told his wife and police the act was consensual.
