A 55 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbering a pharmacy and forcing employees and customers to the ground and then binding their hands. The robbery occurred earlier this week in a small town in Maine. Witnesses say the man, wearing a mask and baseball cap, came in with a gun and demanded money and prescription drugs.
Law enforcement was able to track down the suspect after witnesses gave a description of his getaway car. In his home, police found over 150 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, and cultivation equipment. The man could face a maximum of 30 years behind bars for committing a Class A felony of robbery, but that now can increase with drug charges.
