DNA Evidence Used to Clear Man Jailed for Sexual Assault Charges

by Administrator 10. April 2008 04:04
A Mexican immigrant was jailed for sexual assault charges for the last three months. After awaiting the results of DNA evidence, the man was finally cleared of all charges when the DNA evidence proved his innocence. Cesar Augusto Alvarez, 42, was arrested shortly before Christmas and charged with felony forcible rape after being identified by the alleged victim. Although he will not face felony charges, he is being deported after it was discovered that he was living and working in the country illegally.
