Possession of child pornography charges against a former AOL executive were dropped by Fairfax County prosecutors on Wednesday. The man has previously been charged in 2010 for video taping a nudge teenager without her consent. He was throwing a prom after pary for his dauther when her friend discovered the hidden camera in a room. After she gave the camera to a parent, the man was found guilty and served five days in jail.
Investigators continued to search his house after interviewing the teenage girl and claim to have found child pornography on the former executive's laptop. The defense claims the police did not establish probable cause for obtaining a search warrant and that they violated the scope of the search warrant. The prosecutors decided to drop the charges.
