Former coach pleads guilty to sexual relationship with student

A former soccer coach from Beloit has pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student he coached. 

According to the victim, she agreed to have sex with the man because she feared she would lose playing time if she refused. Before the sentencing, the judge told the former coach that he had abused his position of power, and the former coach expressed his deepest remorse. He was sentenced to two years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting the student.
