Appleton police, in conjuction with the Internet watchdog group Perverted Justice, have successfully caught and arrested four men in a child sex sting operation. The men, all in their mid 20s, have been charged with the felony of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
"Three local guys and a traveler from Racine make up the four," said Detective Sgt. Mike Nofzinger, the sensitive crimes investigator for the Appleton Police Department. "Two of the guys pulled right into the driveway (of the decoy bust house). One guy walked up to the house with a box of condoms."
The charges the men face are Class C felonies and as a result they could be given up to 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine, or even both.
