Jason J. Zirbel, 39, of Green Bay, was arrested and charged with his fourth driving under the influence offense on Monday afternoon.
Zirbel was driving northbound on Interstate 43 when he fell asleep and drove off the road into a grassy area, crossed back into traffic, and collided with a semitrailer truck. Zirbel told authorities he had been drinking all day and "must have dozed off."
Zirbel could face up to six years in prison as this will be his fourth drunk driving offense.
