A 27-year-old man from Appleton was recently arrested at a Taco Bell for driving under the influence of alcohol after he passed out in the drive-through lane.
The man pulled up to the Taco Bell at around 3 a.m. and placed an order. However, before he drove up to the window to pick up his food, he passed out in his vehicle. After 20 minutes, employees of the Taco Bell called the police. When police arrived, the man woke up, and they took away his car keys. Officers asked the man where he was, and the man said that he was at a bar and that his car was a taxi.
The man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. The man has already been convicted of four DUIs in the past.
