Mississippi Bank Robbery Foiled

by Administrator 9. September 2008 01:09
A credit union in Gulfport, MI, was saved from an armed robbery attempt on Monday morning. Willie Bridges, 21, his mother Wilma Wondesia Bridges, 36, and friend Thomas Wayne Goodman, 20, were arrested in the credit union's parking lot early in the morning. Employees and customers inside the building were unaware of what was happening until the arrests were over. The police learned of the group's robbery plans through their close surveillance of the younger Bridges, who has a long criminal history. He was convicted in 2004 of armed robbery in the same town, and has more recently been accused of following a woman home from a banking and robbing her at gunpoint. Armed robbery is a very serious charge. If you or a loved one has been accused of this crime, contact Appleton armed robbery defense attorneys Kohler, Hart & Priebe at 414-271-9595 today.
