Two Wisconsin men face federal drug charges

by Administrator 12. August 2011 04:33

Two men, 49 and 29 years-old, are in a Winnebago County court house facing charges of conspiracy to deliver heroin and cocaine as a part of a large cocaine and heroin drug distribution ring.

If the men are convicted, one could face up to 80 years in jail with $200,000 in fines and the other could be sentenced to 40 years and $100,000 in fines. Both men are already in a Wisconsin prison, serving their sentences for prior convictions.

The drug ring has sold nearly 20 pounds of heroin, which is estimated to be worth $3.6 million, as well as 13 pounds of crack cocaine worth $900,000 in the past year alone.
