Sage Ross, 18, of Cloquet, surrendered on Thursday night on charges of armed robbery as a party to a crime.
The court case dates back to a shooting that took place at 1627 1/2 Tower Avenue in September. Rose could be fined up to $100,000 and sentenced to forty years in prison if convicted. She is accused of setting up the victim to be robbed at gunpoint through text messages.
According to Judicial Court Commissioner Rebecca Lovejoy in regards to Ross surrendering, "It does speak to her credibility to some extent that she turned herself in now. However, this crime was back from September 1st—a couple of months ago."
The preliminary hearing will be held on November 9.
