Appleton lawyer’s sexual assault trial to begin on April 21

On Monday, April 21 Appleton attorney, David Dudas, 49, will face 31 counts ranging from first-degree sexual assault to felony charges of suffocation and strangulation. The trial is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. and will include four days of testimony.

Dudas had been taken into police custody last July after his wife called the police and reported that Dudas hit her in the head, repeatedly suffocated her, and sexually assaulted her that day. Additionally, Dudas’ wife stated that she had been subjected forceful sexual intercourse over the span of a year.
